Grammar: Imperative

Sentence: Hop! Wiggle!

Objective 1: Students will recognize a command and do the appropriate movement.

  • Point to objects on a page and have students respond with the colour.

  • You can begin to introduce words to do with design such as dots or stripes or zigzag.

  • Play a different type of charades: Have students use their body parts and the others guess, for example: 'sniff sniff' - nose!

  • Students should be standing up and doing the motions while singing the song.
