Hello, Starting Ritual and Warm Up

Objective 1: Students will begin to indicate some of their body parts.

Objective 2: Students will be more comfortable with expressing the words for their respective body parts.

*Remember, the following sections are interchangeable

Game Time!

  • There is no book for this lesson so take time to go over the vocabulary  and play a lot of games.

  • Teach them body phrases such as: clap your hands, stomp your feet, nod your head. Then play mimic the leader in whatever phrase they choose and do.

  • Play Simon Says to drill respective body parts.

  • One Little Finger

  • Get those fingers exercising!

  • Have the students sing for one another if comfortable.

  • Go around the room while the students have the hand out and ask individually where a certain body part is.
