Objective 1: Students become familiar with speaking about London and things one might find there.

  • As you read, have students 'take photos' of their favourite parts and then they must tell you at the end their favourite sites.

  • Have your students take mental photos of a flash card. Then have them describe that card to the group from memory. The student who guesses it correctly wins or gets to do it next. You hide the flash cards after photos are 'taken' for more of a challenge.

  • This is a fun 'historical' song - if you have never done it as a kid, now is your chance. Have two people hold hands held up high and act out the bridge - the others build it up each time.
