Knowledge Activation: What, where, when, why, how flash cards. 5 mins


Introduce Vocabulary: Flash Cards and Flash Card Games. Emphasize the TPR and class participation. 10 mins-15 mins


Reading Part 1: The Hungry Snake 20 mins


  • Elicit understanding of images.

  • For younger students, lead them to listen and repeat. Making use of drilled TPR.

  • Use question words to elicit class reading comprehension.

Cool down: Goodbye Song (GS CP) 10 mins


CE1: Review flash cards. Introduce Dialogue. 5 mins
