  • Review story by talking about the pictures.

  • Elicit responses with Wh questions.


Introduce Grammar Structure 20 mins


Use image to guide students through am/is/are grammar structure. Ensure a working understanding through teacher-student interactions. Thumbs up, direct students to raise their thumbs when you make a correct statement and point their thumbs down when you form an incorrect sentence.

Encourage students to use the table to form their own statements.


Introduce Dialogue Structure

What’s your name? My name is _______?

How old are you? I am _____?

What do you like? I like _____?

What don’t you like? I don’t like _____?
